Jake and Savanah.

“JAKE?!” I screamed as I saw him walk in to the archery range. I had just fired my first arrow of the day when he walked in and scared me. I turned around and accidentally let go of the knock, sending the arrow right towards Jake.
The arrow had hits its target. Jake just looked at me through those ice blue eyes. All I saw was confusion and then pain. He doubled over in pain with his hands over his stomach. Around the arrow all I saw was blood. Blood oozing out from his abdomen. I ran over to him and set his head in my lap as I screamed for someone to come and help. No one answered. I kept crying as I held him. Jake looked to me and motioned me down towards his face. Our lips met. Jake had kissed me. I was in a world of wonder, Jake had kissed me. He smiled up at me with love and compassion. Just then, the paramedics had reached us and were pulling him out of my arms. My arms felt cold and empty.
I knew he was going to be ok as they put us in the ambulance, me next to the gurney watching him. I held his hand all the way to the hospital as they whisked him off to operation….
